The Global Creer Bridge logo is designed to express connection, guidance, and a global presence. It incorporates symbols like globes to represent worldwide connections and pathways in education and careers. The chosen color scheme, blending blues and purples, aims to create an inviting and inclusive feel for users.

Inspiration

I Muskan Rathore, a Software Engineering graduate from India, initially worked as a Frontend Developer but then i discovered a stronger passion for design. This realization led me to pursue further studies in the United States to delve deeper into the field of design. However, after a few months in the new country, I encountered significant challenges And primary hurdle which navigated the process of securing an internship or employment opportunity, aligning with my evolving career focus.I found myself and many other individuals relocating to a new country. The challenges which i faced revolved around the complexities of understanding the job market disparities and the recognition of qualifications acquired abroad. My  journey highlighted the need for a platform that could provide tailored support, guidance, and resources to help individuals to overcome these hurdles.

Objective

To provide comprehensive support for individuals moving to a new country, helping them secure fulfilling jobs and integrate seamlessly into their new professional environments.

Goal

To help people land good jobs in a new country by providing personalized assistance and building a supportive community to help them fit into their new professional life. Think of this app as a friendly buddy guiding users through the tricky job market and ensuring their skills are recognized in their new home.

1. Onboarding & Homepage

  • This design provides a clear and concise onboarding experience, allowing users to quickly understand the app's features and choose their desired action.

  • The homepage provides a brief overview of the app's main features and allows users to easily access them.

2. Job Search

  • You'll first choose your job role and preferred location.

  • The app then shows how many job openings match your criteria.

  • Next, you'll see a list of these jobs.

  • Click on any job to view details and apply directly. Simple!

3. Building Resume / Portfolio

In the resume section, you have three options:

  • Create a new resume from scratch, upload an existing one, or use a template to build a new one.

  • Once you've selected your approach, fill in your information and click 'Save and Continue' to complete your resume."

4. Career Counselling

  • Choose the type of counseling you need.

  • Select a counselor.

  • Review their profile, pick your preferred mode (in-person or Zoom), select a time, and book your session.
